Ok, so I've finished my site (apart from putting some blog posts on it) and I'm happy with it (I like the retro theme, I hope it carries on being updated, it's so easy to use).  I just have one glitch and it's tiny.  It's only an irritation nothing major at all.

See the attached screengrab... This is a one-page scrolling site and it scrolls and lands beautifully on the relevant menu sections when you use your menu.

The only section this doesn't quite work on is the contact page, when you click on contact me on the menu, my website scrolls to the contact section but there is a gap at the top which there isn't on any of the other sections/pages.  Does anybody know how to fix this?  Obviously this isn't a big problem and it's not urgent.  I'm just curious.

I don't understand or use code, so please feel free to explain in very simple terms what the best solution is.  Talk to me as if you are telling someone who has never seen a computer!!!!  I won't be offended!

    Best wishes

    Tj

    Hey Tracey,

Actually it's not a bug, please see the attached image that explains why.

In facts, if you reduce the browser height it works as expected: https://www.loom.com/share/1dd631a456b647d6bbf2f91c8c89a79d

You can't see that in our demo because our contact section includes the social links, that contribute to increase the section height.

    Hope that makes sensesmile.png

    Best, P.

Ha! Brilliant, thank you so much, that makes perfect sense.  I clearly need to be more sociable and get some social media on there.

Right, well that's me sorted out.

You've been a great help and I'm still amazed by how quickly you help too.

    Best wishes,

    Tj

It worked!  I put my only social outpouring up (I haven't outpoured for a while) and it made my website sit nicely - genius.

    Thank you.
