I'd recommend to copy and paste the template-event.php into the child theme folder, and hardcode the required link on line 133.

No, it's not hard at all, but just like any other theme author, I am unable to help anyone who claims a customisation.

I've attached a file, unzip it and copy the template-events.php file into your child theme, it should do what you are requiring.
