I'm working with the About Me section and I can't select an icon to appear in the column. I've entered the URL for the link and selected the show column box. Is there something else I'm missing? Please advise. Thank you for your help!
Current issue doesn't seem to be related to jQuery. If you take a look at the inspector, you'll notice that your site is served over HTTP, and assets over HTTPS.
That issue has nothing to do with the theme, and I can't really say why it's happening. Did you change the site protocol here to "https" maybe? http://rachels19.sg-host.com/wp-admin/options-general.php . Or are you enfocing SSL via a plugin or any other settings?
In case the hint above doesn't help, I'd recommend that you contact your hosting support to see what's happening.

Found a ticket that solved it, however the plugin warning seem to indicate that an update will be needed from the developer. Is this coming?
"Icons not working" (#2578197) / Opendept (ticksy.com)
Yes, but TBH it's not a priority at the moment. It's just a warning and it doesn't affect any functionality.
Best, P.
The assets have stopped working again. Enforce HTTPS is enabled. What other solution is there?
Here are the current deprecations if that helps.
