I've had a look at your code and the white color seems to come from the Customizer, though there's no color settings in the theme options.
1) What Kirki plugin version are you currently using?
2) Are you switching from a different theme providing a color text option?
3) Could you please provide your WP credentials in a private ticket?
P.S. Unfortunately I'll be out of the office for the next 24 hours and I am afraid I'll be unavailable to check it out soon, I am sorry.
P.P.S. Consider that a Reset should fix that, though you should set up the typography options again.

2) Not that I know of, but I am very novice in WP. How can I check? FYI, Hemma is the only theme I have in my WP dashboard.
