I am trying to install the theme on www.brickandkey.com using a bigrock hosting. The website is going down and giving an error 500 when we install plugins. My dev team has confirmed that the plugin is causing the issue. Let me know how to resolve this issue.
So basically the Kirki plugin is causing some issue. The moment I rename the kirki.php to something else the theme loads up. How do I use the theme without this plugin?
That's pretty odd. Kirki is a quite lightweight compared to many other popular plugins and it should work fine because we're currently using it on our demos.
I'd recommend that you try disabling all plugins, then enable only Kirki: that's to exclude a conflict between Kirki and any other plugin.
Thanks for your revert. However we have tried installing just the kirki plugin and the website still shows a 500 error. As soon as I delete the Kirki plugin folder from the file manager the website is back up again. I am sorry but I am not a full time coder to edit all files to get the site running. Is there a way we can use this theme without this plugin or by installing a similar plugin. Otherwise I would like a refund. the reason we paid for a theme was that we could develop the website ourselves quickly.
In that case it could be a server-related issue. Please try increasing your PHP memory limit as described in the article I've linked before (that's pretty easy, you only need an FTP client like Filezilla and a text editor) or contact your host support.
Anyway, you could use the theme without Kirki, but some theme options will be unavailable. Also, please consider that issue has nothing to do with the theme, but with your server and/or with a third-party plugin (i.e. Kirki). In that case we are unable to approve a refund, I am sorry, but we're here to help and I'll do all I can in order to make you an happy customer
So i have already done everything mentioned in the link but nothing has worked. We have also contacted the hosting provider and they have confirmed that the issue isnt from their end.
So we can come to a conclusion that the issue is with the Kirki plugin. Could you let me know which functionalities wont work without Kirki so we can find alternatives for the same. And will all other plugins work without kirki.

Then, I'd recommend that you follow these advice to find out what's wrong with the plugin: https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/tips-tricks/how-to-fix-the-500-internal-server-error-on-your-wordpress-website
Please keep me updated. Cheers

Please see the 2 attached files and let us know what to do.
Hi Anvi,
Please make sure to download the latest theme version from ThemeForest (i.e. v1.3.8). Delete the theme and upload the new one.
