I want to be able to have multiple pages showing different room options. For instance, one page that shows a list of all the rooms tagged (or categorized) as "Suites" and another page showing a list of all the rooms tagged (or categorized) as "Regular" - is this possible? If so, how do I do it?
Any idea when the next update comes? I don't see the value in Categories if the only way to view them is in the Archive layout, why would it not be the same layout as if you were viewing all the rooms?
We're currently working on a new option that allows you to filter rooms by categories. I'll let you know as soon as the update is ready. In the meantime you may want to have a look at the new field we are working on
That's great Pasquale and this filtering option would allow me to only show rooms by that category on a specific page? Any idea when you'll release this update? This would be perfect.
The update is available for download on ThemeForest. Here's how it works:
Let's say you have a Room page that shows all rooms but now you need to create a page that shows only suits (i.e. rooms that have as category "Suits"): create a new page, call it "Suits" and set "Room page" as template; then publish the page and you'll see a new box called "Filter Rooms": select the "Suits" category et voilĂ ! Your new Suits page will only show rooms that have "Suits" as category.

Hi,
Currently you can assign room categories, then go to Room -> Room Categories and click on View to open the page that shows the list of rooms with that category. For example: http://themes.opendept.net/hemma-elegant/room-category/suites/
The page layout is different from the other ones because that's an archive page. Hope that helps.
Is it possible to change the page layout from an archive page to the "room-page" template?
There's no built-in option for that. I'll keep in mind your request on our next theme update!
